More Sick-Bags

And next time I hear someone say:- "He'll come out of prison one day - it's us that are serving a life sentence", I shall throw up. - The Magistrate's Blog.

More 'emotional claptrap' from the sister of a barman stabbed to death by five men after he stopped one of them pestering a woman :

Mr Owens' sister, Donna Owens, said: "The men responsible for TJ's death will never feel our pain or understand our loss.

"So it's fair to say it is only us that have been dealt a truly life sentence."

Five men have been jailed over the death of a barman who was stabbed as he stepped in to help two women being molested by one of them on a night out.

Trevor Owens, 25, from Birmingham, was attacked in Broad Street, Birmingham, in November 2005. The case led to a knife amnesty by West Midlands Police.

Mazoom Ali, 30, of Bordesley Green, was jailed for life after admitting murder.

Four other men were jailed for between six years and nine months and nine years after admitting manslaughter.

The barman, known as TJ, stepped in to help two women who were being abused, pestered and molested by one of the group of five.

In other news : this story and this one are all over the place. According to a commenter here, there was a media blackout on the rape of the five year old until the BNP site reported it.

More honest reporting would have been: "Trevor Owens, 25, from Birmingham, was attacked in Broad Street, Birmingham, in November 2005. The case led to a useless publicity stunt (designed to deflect criticism) by West Midlands Police."

Exactly.

The BNP site infers it was a 'gang rape' of a little English girl by 'asians'.

Could this be the begining of another media 'blackout' along the lines of Charlene Downes?

Iyad Albattikhi, 28, the man who ground up 14 year old Charlene Downes body and fed her to his customers at The Funny Boyz take away in Blackpool (allegedly)will face his long awaited trial in February 2007. We'll just have to wait and see how much media coverage that will get. So make note in your shiny new diary for that one TL.

The coward scum who did this should be slowly hung from the highest tree! It's just another example of the lawlessness on our streets as a result of an inefectual and inept criminal justice system that works in faviour of the criminal and against the victim! The sooner the European Court of Human rights is told to fuck off and stop interfering in our laws and judges and the police are given the proper powers of arrest and imprisonment to deter crime the better for us all, unfortunately until we get a proper government in power with a backbone and the moral fibre to carry out what needs to be done the situation will just continual to get worse!

the police HAVE the proper powers of arrest and imprisonment - powers that would have made Himmler's SS green with envy - but they prefer to use them to persecute Joe motorist or mr and mrs householder as an easy, safe way to meet their arrest and clear-up quotas.

Not so...........and btw the SS did not "arrest" - the RSHA had control of Police (Schupo), CID (Kripo), SS, SD, Gestapo (Prussian Secret State Police).......this configuration is not yet in place in England but coming.............the centralisation of police forces was part of the plan to bring MI5, Special Branch, and EuroPol into the same structure............then they could check what you have deposited in the DNA-Library

Rick:
The RSHA, or Reichssicherheitshauptamt (Reich Security Main Office), was a subordinate organization of the SS created by Heinrich Himmler on September 22, 1939, through the merger of the Sicherheitsdienst (SD, or Security Agency), the Gestapo (Secret State Police) and the Kriminalpolizei (Criminal Police). The organization's stated duty was to fight all "enemies of the Reich" within and outside the borders of Nazi Germany.

This situation is not 'coming' to GB but already in place - just replace the word Hitler with Blair and New Labor for Nazi in the following passages.....

"Hitler’s police state worked on the rule that if you said nothing, no harm, could come to you. If you had doubts about the way the country was going, you kept them to yourself - or paid the price. As nearly 17 million people had not voted for either the Nazis or the Nationalist in March 1933, a large and visible police force was required to keep this sizeable group under observation and control."

Also:

In Nazi Germany the police were allowed to arrest people on suspicion that they were about to do wrong. This gave the police huge powers. All local police units had to draw up a list of people in their locality who might be suspected of being "Enemies of the State". This list was given to the Gestapo - the Secret Police.

Emotional claptrap? I think it is insensitive to comment in such a way. I think until individuals have experienced losing someone to murder or manslaughter they will be unable to fully appreciate the pain families experience when losing someone in this way. Families should be allowed to grieve and pay tribute to their loved ones in anyway they feel appropriate without being ridiculed by those who do not understand.

Sorry. When I speak of 'emotional claptrap' I'm referring to the Magistrate's post, where he said how tired he was of it.

I personally get tired of seeing murderers getting only a few years inside ...
